The perfect 10-minute snack eaten in minutes

snack

What I love most is the varied dishes. These are recipes that can be prepared quickly, varied with fillings, and used in different ways. For example, the recipe that I want to tell you today has become a real salvation for me, although it appeared completely by chance. I simply wrapped the salad in pita bread, and the family was happy

ingredients :

Onion – 1 pc
Crab sticks – 1 pack
Canned corn – 1 can
Eggs – 2 pcs
Fresh dill – 1 bunch
mayonnaise
Salt and pepper (other seasonings to taste)
Vegetable oil (if you want to prepare a hot snack)
The recipe may be varied by adding other items

Method :

First, you need to boil the eggs and leave them to cool

At this time, we cut the onion into small cubes and transfer it to a deep bowl

Then we take out the crab sticks and also cut them into cubes. Add to onions

Pour the entire can of corn in there

IMPORTANT: The water must first be drained from the jar

By this time, the eggs will have cooled, and need to be peeled and chopped (I use an egg slicer – it makes preparing the salad much easier and faster). We send them to other components

Now mix all the ingredients well – you have a classic crab salad

To fill the roll, I usually don’t use all the lettuce, so we set aside about a third or half (here look at the size of your pita bread) and then work with it. The second part can be left for another meal

Finely chop the fresh dill. It is very convenient to use scissors for this purpose (just remove the hard stems)

Add mayonnaise, salt, and pepper and mix

Preparing the roll: Take a whole sheet of pita bread and spread the salad from one edge to two-thirds of the portion. One-third of the pita should remain free; We will use it to secure the roll

So, let’s form our roll: Start rolling from the end where the filling is, pressing tightly. Once you get to the “free” part, spread the pita bread evenly with mayonnaise and continue rolling it. You will end up with a huge piece that will have to be cut into pieces

The finished roll can be served cold – a complete breakfast with coffee is ready in 10 minutes! Or you can prepare a hot appetizer by either heating the dish in a pan or baking it in the oven: if you prefer to cook in the oven, add grated or finely chopped cheese to the salad and bake the roll (7-10 minutes at 180 degrees)

You can fry them in a pan until crispy – make sure you use oil, otherwise they will burn or dry out too much

This turns out to be a quick, simple, perfect, and most importantly – satisfying option for an appetizer, snack, or breakfast
