Method :

Cook the Pasta: Fill a large pot with water, add a generous pinch of salt, and bring to a rolling boil. Add the spaghetti and cook as per package directions until al dente, typically 8–10 minutes. Before draining the spaghetti, set aside 1 cup of the starchy pasta water.

Make the Garlic-Infused Oil: As the pasta cooks, warm the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-low heat. Add the thinly sliced garlic and cook, stirring often, for 2–3 minutes until golden and aromatic. Take care not to let the garlic brown too much, as it can develop a bitter taste.
