Loaded with gooey mozzarella and savory pepperoni
Uses pantry staples and one baking dish
Ready in under 30 minutes

Ingredients :(Serves 6)

8 ounces (about two cups) of raw penne or rotini pasta
1½ cups marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1½ cups mini pepperoni slices (or chopped regular pepperoni)
1 cup ricotta cheese (optional, for extra creaminess)
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp garlic powder
Salt & black pepper, to taste
Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish (optional)

Method :

Step 1: Preheat & Cook Pasta
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). As directed on the package, cook the pasta until it is al dente. Drain, then put aside.

Step 2: Build the Casserole
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, marinara sauce, ricotta (if using), Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Spread half the pasta mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle half the mozzarella, half the Parmesan, and half the pepperoni over the top. Repeat with the remaining pasta mixture and top with remaining cheeses and pepperoni.

Step 3: Bake to Perfection
Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10–12 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and lightly golden.

Step 4: Serve & Enjoy!
Let cool for 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired, then slice and serve warm. For a full dinner, serve with garlic bread or a basic green salad.
