Love is in the air-and so is the irresistible combo of rich chocolate and creamy peanut butter. This Chocolate Peanut Butter Valentine’s Heart is the perfect easy Valentine’s Day dessert to make with kids, surprise your partner, or share with friends. Best of all? It’s a no-bake heart-shaped treat that comes together in under 20 minutes.

Ingredients :

(Makes 8–10 heart-shaped treats)

1 cup (175g) semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
½ cup (125g) natural creamy peanut butter (unsweetened preferred)
2 tablespoons coconut oil (or butter)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ cup (25g) powdered sugar (optional, for extra sweetness)
1-2 tablespoons crushed peanuts or sea salt flakes (for topping)
Red food coloring (optional, for pink swirls)
Heart-shaped silicone mold (or parchment paper to shape by hand)

Method :

Step 1: Melt the Chocolate Base
Put the chocolate chips, peanut butter, and coconut oil in a bowl that can be microwaved. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth and glossy (about 1-2 minutes total). Stir in vanilla and powdered sugar (if using) until fully blended.

Step 2: Fill the Hearts
Pour the mixture into a heart-shaped silicone mold, filling each cavity about ¾ full. If you don’t have a mold, spoon small mounds onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and gently shape into hearts with the back of a spoon.

Step 3: Add the Crunch
Sprinkle each heart with crushed peanuts or a pinch of flaky sea salt for that perfect sweet-salty contrast.

Step 4: Chill & Set
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or freeze for 15 minutes, until firm. Once set, gently pop the hearts out of the mold.

Step 5: Serve & Share
Arrange on a decorative plate, wrap in cellophane with a ribbon, or gift in a small box. These Chocolate Peanut Butter Valentine’s Heart treats taste best chilled but can also be stored at room temperature for up to 2 days.
