A simple recipe and quick results. The marmalade turns out dense, does not melt at room temperature, and is not cloyingly sweet with the taste of orange
Ingredients :
200 ml of orange juice
80 gr – Sugar
5 gr – Agar-agar
Method :
Combine juice, sugar, and Agra in a saucepan and mix well
Place over medium heat, stirring constantly, and bring to a boil sure to stir, the agar will settle to the bottom and may burn
Cook for 3 minutes after the active boil starts
Pour the hot mixture into molds. Can be poured into one large mold and, after cooling, cut into portions
Place the molds in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes to harden, or you can leave them at room temperature until completely cooled. Agar stabilizes at 45 C
The finished marmalade is easy to remove from silicone molds; it does not break or stick. Roll in sugar just before serving
