Today I am preparing a classic Italian dish beef meatballs with pasta and apples. This is a great hearty lunch or dinner for the whole family
Ingredients :
750 gr – Minced beef
50 gr – White bread crumbs
15 gr – Parsley
50 gr – Parmesan cheese minced
1 clove – Garlic
1 tsp – Salt
1/4 tsp – Ground black pepper
2 tbsp spoons of olive oil
250 gr – Pasta dry, then boiled
2 pcs – Apples medium
1 pc – Onions
300 ml – Chicken broth
Slice of lemon
75 gr – cheese for sprinkling
Method :
To prepare it, I take ground beef, add bread crumbs, eggs, finely chopped garlic, and parsley. I grate Parmesan cheese, add a teaspoon of salt, and ground black pepper. Mix thoroughly
I form large meatballs. I get 12 pieces
Pour vegetable oil into the frying pan and heat it thoroughly. I lay out the meatballs and fry them over medium heat for 3 minutes on each side
I remove the core from the apples and cut them into small slices. I water it with lemon juice to prevent it from darkening. Then I chop the onion in the same way. I put all the cuts in the oil where the meatballs were cooked. Pepper to taste and fry for a couple of minutes over medium heat. Then pour in the broth and reduce by a third at a high boil. Now add salt to taste. The apples should become soft
I place the boiled pasta in a deep baking dish and the fried meatballs on it. On top, I spread a mixture of apples and onions along with the broth. Sprinkle with cheese and bake in an oven preheated to 160 degrees for 30-40 minutes
Bon appetit
