Ingredients : (Serves 4)
For the Salmon:
4 (6 oz) wild-caught salmon fillets, skin-on or skinless
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
For the Bang Bang Sauce:
â…“ cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
1 tbsp sriracha (adjust for heat)
1 tsp lime juice
1 tsp honey (or maple syrup for vegan)
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tbsp chopped green onions
1 tsp toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)
Optional Garnishes:
Extra green onions
Lime wedges
Cooked jasmine rice or cauliflower rice
Steamed broccoli or snap peas
Method :
Step 1: Prep the Salmon
To guarantee a crispy crust, pat the salmon fillets dry using paper towels. Combine olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Brush or rub the mixture evenly over the salmon.
Step 2: Air Fry the Salmon
Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C). Place salmon fillets in the basket in a single layer (don’t overcrowd-cook in batches if needed). Air fry for 10-12 minutes, depending on thickness. When salmon reaches an internal temperature of 145°F and flakes readily with a fork, it is done.
Step 3: Make the Bang Bang Sauce
While the salmon cooks, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, lime juice, honey, and sesame oil until smooth. Stir in chopped green onions and set aside.
Step 4: Assemble & Serve
Once the Air Fryer Salmon is done, transfer fillets to serving plates. Drizzle generously with Bang Bang sauce. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and extra green onions. Serve immediately with rice or your favorite veggies.
